Showing Camera AVIs in Picture Directory

I want my camera vids to show up under pictures and not videos. I only want to use the video directory for ripped DVDs, and the Camer AVIs keep showing up in the Videos section.

I've tried deleting the .AVI file type in the "seeker import video" line of the Sage.properties file, but it seems like everytime I restart Sage, it just adds that file type to the line. I am making sure the service is turned off. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

I don't think this is possible. SageTV puts videos in the Videos section and photos in the Photos section. You can create a subfolder in your imported videos directory to group the camera videos so they aren't all mixed in with the rest of your movies.

Not sure if you’re using SageMC or not, but even so I think you can still do this as long as you install dynamic menus. You can setup physical directories to point to different media. So you could put all your home vids in one videos directory and have its own video library and then another that displays DVD’s… Here’s a couple of threads discussing how to implement this:

Videos in the "Photo" section

My digital camera can record videos too, as many other cameras. However, these are (of course) not shown in the Photo section in SageTV.

Is it possible to browse both photos and videos at the same time without including the "Photos" section on the server in Videos (it clutters up the Videos view ) ?
