beta (sorta) bricked my hd200: hdmi issue

i thought i'd bricked my hd200 today downloading the latest beta.
the hd200 froze at around 83% downloaded and after 20 minutes i
gave up and pulled the power.

after that, i couldn't get control of the machine or get any video out.
i tried a config reset and cycled through the video outputs but nada on screen.
i tried the usb upgrade but with no screen that was no good.

after penning a plea for help to tech support, i futzed around a bit and found that simply
pulling the hdmi cable and re-inserting it solved the problem.......apparently
the unit was not able to reset the hdmi connection properly even with
a power cycle of the hd200.

maybe this will help someone else in the future........the key is i got it
all fixed before family got home

edit: just to be clear, the beta didn't brick it, the failed download process locked it up, which required
a power reset which apparently locked up the hdmi connection, which apparently couldn't be
reset until the hdmi cable was pulled.................so the beta (per se) wasn't the problem, the failed
upgrade was
