mapping channels in .16, awesome!

Just thought I'd say thanks to the SageTV team for changing up the mapping channels feature, its actually a pleasing expierence now going through and changing mapped channels even in SageMC with the new preview funtionality/sorting/layout. I've always hated doing it during the setup process since I never know exactly what my lineup is (I've changed providers 3 times in less than 6 mo's). That and with the DTV switch coming, my area has lined up quite a few un-labled test stations that are fun to play with and map around.

Yep can't wait until I see what's next. It already is a lot easier to understand now! Definitely going to need it in a month or two as Comcast around here is starting to change channel locations every other week.

With the DTV transition I have several problems with the guide.

I am missing data for WNVT, Mhz, channel 30.1,2,3,4,5 on channel 24. I went to Zap2IT and got the channel IDs but with the latest beta I can not find where to enter the ZAP2IT channel IDs.

With WPXW, 66.1,2,3,4,5 on channel 34 I get only partial listings. Most time slots have no data listed. ZAP2IT has full listings.

I get no data for WMDO, 47.1 on channel 8. I can not find the ZAP2IT station ID for WMDO.

Have you run a new channel scan since the digital switch? If not, do that.

Are those channels that had EPG data previously & now do not have data after rescanning? (I'm guessing this is the one that applies.) If so, then remap the correct station name to the physical channel.

If what opus says fails, try to delete your tuner and re-setup your line up. That's what worked for me. YMMV

I would note too that if you have issues with sage crashing or not responding during the scan updating to the latest STV seemed to clear that up as well.
