HD200 plus 5/27 firmware plus server 6.5.16 = blu ray problems
sorry, subject should say 5/28 firmware
and suddenly playing back a blu-ray from drive in sage server isn't perfect. I'm getting stutters and audio drop outs. I was running 6.5.14 and 5/05 firmware and all was great. Anyone else seeing this, or not seeing this? thanks

That specifiic combination made my HD200 completely unusable. With it my recordings, DVDs and mkv files all played back "sluggishly" and were unwatchable. The menus were even similarly sluggish in their response.
Rolling the firmware back to the latest non-beta release 20081230 solved all of my problems. In fact, this combination of the 20081230 firmware with the 6.5.16 application is the first time ever my HD200 has been able to play all of my file types properly. The only problem I have with it is that I miss "Zoom C". |
