Music Import Issue?

Hi,

For some reason I can't get my music to correctly import into SageTV. I had my entire music library (3500 files) in SageTV for a while now with no problems. I decided to make some changes to some of the files and rather than re-scan for changes I just removed the import directory and then re-added it. Now each file is showing up as a separate album?!?!? Is anyone having this same problem. I am using the latest beta 6.5.15. If I view the file in another program I can see that they are all properly tagged. It is as if Sage cannot read the tags. All my files are WMA Lossless.

So no one is having music issues? I have been experimenting and I can't get any music to import correct. If I import MP3's it seems to read the tags but Sage can't playback the files. It thinks they are all 0 seconds long. FLAC files are also hit or miss as it can sometimes read the tags and sometimes not.

There were some changes we made in 6.5.15 that were in the area that could cause this kind of issue; but we're not seeing the problem in our testing. Can you file a bug report and then we can get logs from you to see what's going on? http://sagetv.com/bugs.html

I did file a bug report a day or two ago. What else do I need to do?

^I'm seeing the same thing. I bought a linux license a few days ago and put my media drive in from the non beta Windoze sage. I thought it was an issue with the linux code.

I have received a response to my bug request and am in the process of generating the logs and will email them back when done.

vikingisson, maybe you should submit a bug report as well?

I also saw the same thing. 2 new albums that I ripped on 6.5.15 show up as individual titles instead of full albums.
All the old albums are fine.

I just heard back from my bug report. They have discovered a problem and are working on fixing it for the next release.
