Music Import Problems
I am having a terrible time getting my music imported. The system scans for imports and finds no files to import in the My Music directory. This directory appears correct in detailed settings.
I am running Sage 4 -NOT- as a service. I moved the music drive down to the HTPC so as to be sure there are not networking issues. I have checked the tags and they appear correct. There are other files in some of the directories (ie folder.jpg), but this problem persists even after I remove them. Sage does inot generate a log (I do have this enabled in properties), but it does generate some sort of Sage.txt in which the last line is always something on the order of "parsing" filename and then Sage hangs. Can anyone help?? Thanks, ED

Are your music files in a format that Sage can read?

My apologies. I am trying to import WMA lossless. I know Sage does WMA ...... I did not see WMA lossless specificlly listed. Also, I have WMA listed as a file type in Sage properties.

Yeah, I dunno. I can't get it to import Flac or Ape and I'm not sure if it does m4a either.

Bump
Does anyone have any kind of explaination for this. I really want to use Sage full time for all my media, but this is the one remaining hitch. I have been through the docs, wiki and the forums and think I have tried everything including a clean install. Any more suggestions. ED

Ed, did you resolve your problem? I'm encountering a similar issue.

Try the 4.1.4 beta. I think it resolves some wma issues.

Some of my issues are resolved. I edited the Properties file, which for some reason didn't have .wma as a file type for music import.
