2nd tuner setup gives wrong channels

Resolution: After first tuner was remaped and working with QAM. I added the 2nd tuner for QAM using the same lineup as tuner 1. Then went back into tuner 2 channel lineup and rescanned the channels. Then I did the analog channels for both tuners. - Thanks for all the help.


Frustrating...

Using a 2250, fresh install of WHS 6.5.9, I scanned the QAM on tuner 1. Remapped and everything looks good. Setup tuner 2 for digital using the same lineup as tuner 1 (and tried copying same lineup) and tuner 2 channels are all different than the correct tuner 1's channels. We are talking not even close.

At this point I am so frustrated, I don't even care why it's doing this, but how do I make it stop. This shouldn't be this difficult. Thanks again.

Did you perform a channel scan on the 2nd digital tuner? If not, you'll need to do so, unless you know how to copy & rename the first tuner's .frq file.

No, I didn't rescan (well actually I am doing that right now). I didn't see why I would need to if everthing is to remain the same.

With rescanning comes remapping, right? I thought I read about coping frq's somewhere, can you enlighten me on that. BTW, will I have to do the same thing when it comes to the analog side? Thanks again.
