				Firewire Support In SageTV Linux

Has there been any updates to SageTV Linux to support Firewire channel changing and capture recently? I saw a couple of threads discussing experimental support a while back for Windows, but I haven't seen much for Linux.

I have SA 4250HD STBs on Time Warner with Firewire ports and was wondering if anyone else has SageTV Linux running with Firewire channel change/capture. I have a feeling the wife approval factor of SageTV will go down in a year or so when all the cable channels change to digital and the analog tuners no longer capture anything. I want to avoid as much complication (failure points) as possible. If Firewire is working well that sounds like the ideal solution. Anyone? |
