Separate Video Folders?

Is there anyway to create 2 top level menu folders in place of the 1 top level "MyVideos" video folder? i.e instead of having "MyVideos" only, have "Home Videos" and "Movies"?

What are you talking about... setting up your import paths, editing the SageTV UI menus (which STV?), something else?

I'm asking to customize the actual menu layout.

Let me explain in more detail.

Suppose I have two physical storage folders, "Movies" which contains DVDs and "HomeMovies" which contain Home Family Videos.

I add an import path for both of them, but the result is that all of the contents from both physical directories all show up under the "MyVideos" menu in SageMC.

What I want instead, is to replace the "MyVideos" Menu Folder with two different folders: "Movies" and "HomeMovies" each of which only displays the videos from their respective import paths.

The net result will be that if I want to watch HomeVideos I will go to the top level "HomeVideos" selection, and if I want to watch DVDs I will go to the top level "Movies" selection.

Why not make to video import screens on your main menu

I have dvds, blu rays and home movies on my main menu.

Or use the folder view? You will still see only My Videos in your main menu, but when clicking through you will have two distinct folders.

If you use the folder view, what happens when you click into a folder? Do you see your library of videos with full artwork and metadata?
