Recording back to back Stargate
I been having this issue. When recording Stargate. It seems that the timer is off on the back to back shows. I will start watching a show and will have to begain viewing the end of the episode at the beginning of the next show. My system clock is set with Sage. This only happens with Stargate back to back recording.
I have tried to pad the shows but it still has the same problem. My system has to capture cards install. I tried to pad the shows but the episodes stay recorded on the same card. Is there a way to control which card records. This way I can pad the show and the second card could record with out a problem. |

If you have multi-tuner check out the last release notes. There is a new property file setting to force back to back favorites on the same channel to spread accross tuners when padding is used.
BTW, I record that same linup of SG and notieced that SciFi has the start times wrong too. |

Only same channel?
what if the back2back shows are on different channels and padding is enabled?
Ex: show 1 that 70s show on ch8 8:00pm 30 minute show with 1 minute padding 7:59-8:01 on tuner 1. show 2 King of Queens on ch6 8:30pm 30 minute show would show 1 stop at 8:30 and disregard the end pad to start show 2 on tuner 1 Or: would show 1 record with end pad and tuner 2 start at 8:29 and both shows would have BOTH start and end paddding? I am asking instaed of testing because I have not installed yet. I have been with BTV and want to switch if multi-tuners work the second way described above. Thanx in advance. I hope that SageTV is what I need!!! |
