Add Source Lockup W7

I am installing Sage V6.5.12 on clean Windows 7 7057 (64bit) install.

During the setup wizard on the add source step the UI locks up during

"Please select the input on the VBox Vb35xxx Capture Device"

When I select "Digital TV Tuner"

I get the following:
"Please wait for the video preview to load"

This is where I get stuck. I have never found this step to be usefull or even work on any of my previous installs on Windows XP. I have in the past been able to skip past the video preview I thought by slecting the button at the bottom of the page. I have found no way past this point or a way to skip it.

After trying this a couple times, I did verify using WMC that the tuner & drivers were operational.

Is there a particular application outside of Sage that mandates you use Windows 7 beta, let alone the 64-bit version? (hint: You picked the least supported OS possible).

I am having a similar problem, except I am running Windows XP, the latest stable version of Sage TV, and my setup wizard is completely locking up on the Audio Selection. I select the Audio and then a circle just spins infinitely. Memory usage becomes stagnant and CPU usage is stagnant. But it doesn't do anything...

Can anyone help me out? I really want this software to work, but it seems to be a total failure. I've been at this for 5 hours now.
