Sage won't let me add a source

Things have kind of spinned out of control again.

I have been experimenting with using firewire to record HD and SD and have been running only a few channels through firewire and most of them through S-video.

Happy that it works I tried to migrate all the channels accross today. First thing that went wrong is that I accidentally tried to view a 5c encrypted channel. That killed the channel line up altogether and it wouldn't even show the lineup nevermind let me add any channels. So I stripped out both the sources and have been trying to reinstall the source. Now sage just keeps telling me that either my zip code is invalid or I have no connection to the internet.

Is there any way out of this or is it nuke 'n' pave time again?

Sounds like it's having trouble contacting the Sage EPG server. I'd hold off doing anything drastic for a while in case it's just a temporary server outage.
