linux Sagetv.6.5.12 HDHomerun

Ok.. maybe I'm doing this wrong but I can't figure out how to get the channel scan to work.

I've downloaded the latest deb package and installed it on my server. Works fine has no problems with my pvr-500 dual tuner card. Also grabed the 6.5.12 placeshifter client. Seems to work great. What I'm having a problem with is setting up the channels properly on my HDhomerun.

When I add the tuner (installed hdhomerun from apt-get and downloaded the lastest firmware from the website and uploaded it with no problems) and scan for channels the gui always seems to hang or glich during the scan and I can't add the get to the end of the scan process. I've removed all the other sources from the and also deleted the wiz.bin (and all the corrupted versions) and tried to scan the channels again.. always gliches. Any one got any suggestions?

FYI every thing else works.. can use the windows programs to configure and even went in and manually changed all the call signs and channel numbers. all the channels that I want work great with VLC .. so I don't think it's a problem with the network or the hdhomerun.

Any help would be great.

Also is there a way to take the configuration I did using the windows version of the HDhomerun config and have Sage on linux use it? I was under the impression that when I was spending 2 hours configuring those channel names and numbers that it was updating the HDHR.. Sadly it looks like I was mistaken.

Once again .. any help would be great here.

I'm having very similar problems with 6.5.13 and latest HDHomerun firmware.

I see my tuners, channels and can watch from the GUI/VLC but SageTV can't find any of my channels during a scan. The latest version of the HDHomerun Setup for Windows doesn't output a *.scn file so cant get help there.

Did you get sorted?
