I'm looking to move to extenders for Sage instead of full machines so I would want the client on it - I'm using a MediaMVP right now. I just happened to see a link on SlickDeals to a really good price for this unit so I figured I'd check if anyone's hacked it.

If you use SageTV, your only way of getting the full interface and full support from SageTV is with the following extenders:
Hauppauge MediaMVP
SageTV HD100 (only available second hand)
SageTV HD200 - your best bet and only available directly from SageTV.

The Linksys DMA's are for VMC or Windows 7 only.

I saw the $100 price today, too, and was hopeful for some way to use it with Sage. Really like the price and the fact that it has a DVD player, but not sure it's worth building a server around. Plus I know nothing about how VMC and SageTV compare.
