custom video feed won't play .asf files

So I know this has been quiet for over a month, but I was hoping someone could help. Perhaps I'm just going about this the wrong way all together?

I'm trying to get my Linksys IP camera to be viewable with my Sage system. So, I've created my own xml file and hosted it. When I set the properties file up, I get everything to show up in the Online section as I would like. When I click my stream with placeshifter, it works great, but when I use a client or the server itself I get the following error after buffering a few seconds:
"There was a Playback Error in playback. Details: sage.PlaybackException: ERROR (-4,0x80040218): There was a problem rendering the video portion of the content for playback."

I've tried with both the default stv and SageMC. The stream is an asf format, could that be the problem? But why would it work with placeshifter, but neither of my 2 clients or the server? Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

I was able to confirm that it definitely seems to be a difference between placeshifter and client that is causing my failure. My stream seems to work fine on all of the computers when using placeshifter, but works on none of the computers when using the client (or server for that matter).

Any suggestions?

Nobody? Just figured I'd give this a bump and one more chance at the group before I submit a "bug report". Though I'm not sure it's really a bug.
