No videos play with new hd200 firmware

not at sinlge thing updated on extender and no video plays tv or otherwise.

The old extender still plays everything runnin the previous beta firmware.

i did update sage beta as well no change.

Have you tried a second update?? I think you can go back to the National Release and then redo the beta install, or if you have the bin file for the last beta you could go back to that then try the new beta again.

I updated to the 6.5.12b SageTV version and the 20090313 2 beta firmware version. I have played Blu-ray (now recognizes the folder format in Media Player mode) and also watched TV recordings in mpeg format (OTA ATSC) and ts format (HD-PVR) and all are working for me on the HD-200.

I'm also having problems with this firmware update (also updated SageTV to 6.5.12.207).

With this latest firmware update on the HD-200 used as an Extender, playing either recorded shows or video, the picture is distorted - very skinny across the screen, large black areas on top and bottom, and people are 'fat'. It's necessary to press the aspect button on the remote to "fill" to bring the picture so it's no longer distorted and so it fills the screen properly. The aspect button has to be pressed every time a video or recorded show is played. Downgrading to the previous version of the firmware corrected this problem.

HD200 initial video settings are set to component and 1080i (720p won't work).

The new beta, v6.5.1.2, has worked great for me in regards to using the HD200 as an Extender. It is still not playing back my HD videos perfect yet, still some stuttering, but it is playing them much, much better than with the last beta.

However, I am just starting to use the HD200, so there may be many areas that I am not using.
