Recording issues since the purchase of HVR-2250

I am currently running SageTV software with a Hauppauge WinTV 150, 250MCE, and HVR-2250. I suspect am having driver conflict. The cards appear to work independantly. The 250 and 150 appear to work together in tandum. When I try to use the HVR-2250 in tandum with the 250 and 150 it appears to cause all cards to fail. PC tries to record video but video sputters and only records a few minutes of video. Playback shows skipping through minutes of video. I have tried different playback codecs which doesnt seem to make a difference. This appears to be an error in recording. Any known issues involving this? I am using the latest drivers for each device. Anyone know of any compatibilitys with the HVR2250 with the WinTV 150s or 250s?

Try rolling back to the last official drivers (July 25, 2008). Several of us had problems with the latest betas screwing up the analog recordings. Going back to the last official drivers fixed this issue.

I installed a 2250 using the official drivers into the same server that has 3 HD-PVR's. The 2250 would have an issue and be unable to properly tune and ATSC channel causing a "No Signal" error in Sage. A short time later at least one of the HD-PVR's would start giving "No Signal" errors as well.

In the end I removed the 2250 sources from Sage and all has been well since. Sounds like a driver conflict to me.

I installed a 2250 using the drivers that came with the cd back in August. Havn't touched them since.

I have 2 HD-PVRs on the same server and installed the 1.053 drivers from the Hauppauge site by using device manager, update driver and browsing to the folder where I unzipped the 1.053 drivers.

My system hasn't missed a recording in months.

I experienced similar symptoms in the beginning as was noted in the second post....at one point I got all tuners...digital included working...but as soon as 3 fired off at once, BAM! I got the sputter and everything else...I have been uninstall and reinstalling drivers ever since. Disabling the HVR card and removign it from sources sage can use does resolve the issue and I am flying along with the PVR 150 and 250...I woudl still like to get this working though. It would be nice to have 4 tuners fired up at the same time and be able to start recording digital HD broadcasts. I feel better that I am not the only person. Has anyone got a the HVR to work with a 250 or 150? Maybe I can just take out one card and give it to a friend (possibly make a new SageTV convert)

I'm sure few would care...but I have a resolution to my issue. I decided to roll back to Windows XP....Vista was chewing resources. When I did it, I ensured I didnt install the beta fix(driver) from Hauppauge. I appear to be working now. I can even tune digital. Now all I need is to do a cheap videocard upgrade so the HD playback is better and find a good codec for the card. If anyone has a cheap card good for HD and cheap codec combo...I'm all ears!
