HD-PVR and 5.1
I've just installed my first HD-PVR and I'm pretty pleased with it, but it's only been a few hours. I'm using the 1.0.5.3 drivers and have it getting audio through optical. The problem I'm seeing is that it is capturing as AC3 2 channel instead of 5.1. Should I set TME to use AAC instead of AC3? Is there some other setting I need to set?
Maybe the problem is that the input isn't 5.1, but I'm pretty sure it is. Edit: Boy do I feel stupid. I forgot to set up my DirecTv receiver to output in 5.1. I set that and now all is well. Last edited by toricred; 03-10-2009 at 09:35 PM.
