SageTV 2 Wish List
I believe at least one of these has been suggested, but here they are anyway:
1) Keypress feedback on OSD guide screen when inputting channel numbers directly to jump to a specific channel - this would be a big help for the occasional 'missed' key 2) ODS Guide should come up pointing to presently tuned channel |

, but this is a bug in the TV Guide and should be fixed before release.

Add a text title to the preview window displaying what it is playing.

Keypress feedback - done for 2.0.14
Text title to preview window - also done for 2.0.14 I don't really understand the comment about the OSD guide because it always shows the info for what's currently playing.

He means if I am watching channel 23 and I go to the guide (not using the back command) it defaults to the first channel in the list instead of the currently playing channel.

What I mean for OSD in the Guide: If I am viewing the OSD guide, and I key in a channel # to jump to in the guide rather than scrolling, I would like to see the keys as they are entered. Now I get no feedback until I hit the OK key, and sometimes the receiver does not pick up all key presses.

Yeah this is a huge bummer for me..I capture cable and satellite, which gives me quite a large guide. It sure sux to scroll through every channel to get to a mid 400's channel every time.
On that note, it sure would be nice to have a favorites channel list which can be defined per user ( Im not sure that this already isnt in place, due to never looking.. BUT, I would definately start using it, since most usability issues have now been squashed!) I. Quote:

Yeah having the guide remember the last channel you were at in the list is huge. Also I'm looking for the "original air date" from 1.4 and a way to not have the color bars on the 350 show up in between changing channels.
