ATI Capture Card
I have a ATI All-In-Wonder X800-XL video/capture card. When I configure the source through SageTV and click Live TV I get an error saying: "There Was A Capture Error in Playback. Details:ERROR (-2,0x80070491) There was a problem using a SageTV component, please reinstall SageTv software".
I have installed the ATI catalyst and I can launch cable TV through there with no issues, so am wondering if my card is not compatible with SageTV or if I have a setting that may be incorrect.

What happens when you just record the show? Does it actually record? Can you play back on another player (WMP or VLC)? If this is only a play back issue you can try changing the playback settings. Try overlay or a different decoder.
If not recording then your card may not be supported including if its a software encoder card= http://www.sagetv.com/requirements.html?sageSub=tv
