V5 gives me an error on my ATI 550 capture card

there was a cpture error in playback
error: (-2x8007001f)

I have deleted the source and get the same error every time I try to add the card again. I have even reinstalled.
I think I'm going to reinstall then delete the whole directory.

I just put together a HTPC with 2 powercolor Theater 550 pro's and I get the same thing on both of them. I was running version 4 and just downloaded 5, but I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet. I also tried reinstalling v4 with no success. Let me know if you figure it out.

Thanks,

Craig

My ATI 550 works fine, though I didn't install the software that came with the card. I just went to the ATI website and downloaded the most recent driver. If you installed the software that came with it then it's possible that it is using the card already so sage cannot.

I'm running the latest ATI drivers too, and no issues with 2 theater 550pro cards & sage 5. I don't recall any issues since quite a few Sage releases ago.

Maybe bug-report support can help you figure out that error message.

Sorry I haven't replied.
I finally got mine working after several attempts, I just kept deleting the card, finally I backed up my settings files and used the default. It then detected the card. I put my wiz file back in and all was well.
The first couple times I got a couple weird messages, I can't remmeber what though. anyways it's been purring along like a champ

I have similar issues

I have my Powercolor 550 PCIe board in a Win2K3 x64 server. Sage5 runs great but periodically loses connection to the tuner (every 3-4 days). I can only fix it by rebooting the server. Any clues? I only installed the latest ATI drivers.
