bluray cover art

I'm using the bluray folder structure with the m2ts file right now. How does the cover art image work with the bluray folder structure? Does it? If so how? thanks.

Which UI are you using, Sage Default or SageMC? I have coverart working fine with SageMC & a bluray folder structure. I would guess that if your not using the new fanart system then it should work no different than DVD's.

Put it in the same folder as the BMDV and CERTIFICATE folders:

[BMDV]
[CERTIFICATE]
folder.jpg

that works for me. I go to dvdempire.com to get the covers as they have the hi-res version for DVD and blu-ray.

I put my art inside the BMDV folder:

Movie Name\BDMV\folder.jpg

For DVDs, Sage recommends that folder.jpg be in the Video_ts folder:

Movie Name\Video_TS\folder.jpg

So I used that as a guide and it works. I don't know if Sage has made a statement yet as to where they want folder.jpg put for Blu-rays.

I'm using DVD Profiler to import the meta data for the movie...

Please let me know if this is correct.

To make the .m2ts appear like a standard DVD.

1. Create a BD folder structure

[BMDV]
[CERTIFICATE]

2. Place the .m2ts inside the folder

Do I need to put it in a "Stream" folder? or just place it at the top level

3. Add New Movie and Export from DVD Profiler (same as standard DVD)

4. Rescan for file and rescan Meta Data

Will it automatically create the "folder.jpg" after the Meta Data rescan?

Thanks in advance.

I had no luck making up my own folders as you describe and then moving the m2ts file into the stream folder. Just wouldn't play as a Blu-ray.

It seems that you also need a valid playlist in the playlist folder.

I ended up using tsMuxeR a second time by loading the (previously muxed) m2ts file into tsMuxeR and remuxing to Blu-ray disc folder structure. That created the necessary folder structure with playlist info et al. It takes only 8-15 minutes to do this way as the work was already done when creating the original m2ts file.

The art is not created automatically for me, but I don't use Meta Data. If I couldn't find artwork on the net I used Total Media Theater to do a frame capture from the movie itself and used that as the artwork. I prefer movie scenes for artwork, rather than jacket cover photos.

Stuckless' Batch Media Tools (metadata importer) will automatically handle putting art/metadata in the right place for BD folders I believe.

Is that recommended to import the meta data that DVD profiler exports to its XML file?

I assume you turn off the Library auto meta data refresh option when using this plug-in instead?

Will this work if I decide to enable fanart? Or will I need to use something else like the Advanced Library plugin?

Yeah, I wasn't sure, I know I stuck VIDEO_TS folders in a bunch of my BD rip folders to get it to work (BMT) with 1.x, couldn't remember if 2.0 still needed them or not.
