SageTV Performance
I am using the newest version of SageTV as my media center interface. I have around 600 avi movie files as well as cover art. When I load all of these into the interface and browse, the scroll sometimes freezes or is very delayed, or takes awhile for cover art to load. Is this an issue with the amount of movies I have or is there a fix for this? My system is a dual-core processor with 4GB of memory, so computer performance is not an issue. I have used TVedia prior and had no problems browsing through all the movies.

Look into album art cache settings. There is one where you can increase the cache (not sure on Default stv but its in setup on SageMC) and one where you can speed the loading time of the icons too. Can't remember offhand where this is but I know it's a submenu from options within the Media Centre somewhere, sure someone else will chime in before I get back with the answer.
