mvp and comskip

I am testing Sage right now, and have a Media MVP. I got comskip to work on my HTPC with sage (automatically skipping). On my MVP I still have to manually fast forward thru the commercials. They are not even marked on the progress bar, as they are on the HTPC. I was watching the same show on both systems, so I know it had been marked. Is this something that the MVP is not capable of, or is it a setup issue?

Using SageMC on the HTPC. Is there any way to change to use the same thing on the MVP?

Thanks

I am a new user to SageTV, but my setup is similar. I have SageMC on my server and I am using 4 MVPs. Compskip works on the server and on all of my MVPs.

It sounds like you are using the Default STV (SageTV3) on your MVP but the "SageMC_16x9" STV on your Server (HTPC). If you load the same STV on the MVP as the Server, it should work the same.

If you're not sure how to do this:
1) Check which STV you are using on the HTPC. - Go to settings and in the box on the right look for the line that says "Current STV:" It should say "SageMC_16x9-1.xml" or something similar to this.
2) On the MVP go the the "Setup Menu", then to "Detailed Setup" then to the "Advanced" menu.
3) IN the options on the right, go to the "SageTV Application Package (.stv or .XML File)" option and choose the same STV as the Server (SageMC_16x9-1.xml)
Now the MVP and Server should be the same. If Comskip works on the Server, it should now work on the MVP as well.

Again, I'm new to this, but I hope this helps.
