Upgrade question
I am still in the process of deciding to upgrade or not, but am confused by the upgrade option
On the ordering page it says: This product is an upgrade only and requires full version of SageTV Version 4 or earlier. To purchase the full version of SageTV V6 click here. If I purchase the upgrade, does this option require that I install over my old version 4 software, or can I do a full/clean install of version 6.5?

You don't have to install over the old version. If you install over the old version, when you register it on the computer, you will only need to enter the new upgrade serial number. If you do a full clean install on a new machine or on a fresh installation of the operating system, you will need your old serial number and the upgrade serial number you get when you purchase the upgrade. So, with a fresh installation, you'll have to enter your old serial number first and then the new serial number to activate the new version.
