Volume Issues

Recenty I lost sound while using sage 6.4 on a Vista 64 using hdmi. It turns out that each time I start a recording or live tv (anything that has sound) the volume in the windows control panel for the sage application goes to 0. The device output and the sound for windows stay at 100. To rectify I must exit full screen, open sound mixer and bring the volume for sage back to 100. The issue is that once I stop playback or change stations I have to do it again.

Any Ideas

GC

That would be pretty annoying.

Don't know if that will fix it but I would start by going into the detailed setup\ Video Audio section and trying another mpeg2 Audio Decoder. You probably have a few there to choose from.

possible similar issue

I'm seeing an issue where live TV and recordings audio levels are low and sound somewhat muffled. However music playback sounds just fine through the HD200. It is to the point that I have to turn the TV and SAGE all the way up and it still sounds like there is a pillow on top of the speaker.

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 and use external tuners (hdhr, hd pvr) with an HD200 connected via HDMI to my TV.
