hauppauge pvr 500 - losing audio

dont why it happens but if view my analogue pictures in another tv viewing application (eg gbpvr) and then go back to sagetv I can hear the audio.
But if I view a digital channel on my other dvb-s card within sagetv and then go to the analgogue channels the sound has gone again.

Any ideas anyone?
