HD200 Boot Problems

I am having as issue with my HD200. After a couple of rapid power cycles it will not fully boot up. I tried removing power, and when I plug it in I get the SageTV logo which stays forever and the red light is on. If I power the unit off, the logo stays on the TV but the red light goes off. I cannot turn the unit back on with the remote. I tried telnetting in to the unit and was able to do so and issued a "reboot now" command. The telnet drops, but I can connect again almost immediately which tells me it isn't really rebooting. In fact, I can issue a "ps -ef" command which lists all of the processes and my reboot command shows up in the list.

So, it isn't bricked, but certainly not behaving properly. Incidentally, this happened the very first day I got it, but it started working again at some point and it hasn't happened since. I am running with whatever firmware I loaded the day I got it last December (I got one of the first batch to ship). I would update the firmware, but can't without getting it to boot.

The behavior is very similar to this thread: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37439, but I am using composite output, so I do not think it is necessarily the same issue. I tried cycling the output with the remote to no avail.

Any ideas?

You said pulling the plug & plugging it back in doesn't work?

Did you try what this FAQ says (scroll down a bit):
My STP-HD200 extender is not working at all. What should I do?

If none of that helps, then you should contact SageTV tech support.
