Does SageTV-WHS version require using pooled drives?

Subject says it all, do I need to use pooled drives?

I just installed WHS, but I don't want to use the console or pooled drives as I have a 5x1TB RAID5 array with a Highpoint RAID card. Using a GPT partition allows me to have a single 4TB array instead of splitting into 2 logical 2TB arrays. (Hardware mfr recommends against doing that for performance reasons)

Using the pool would only show 2TB usable per drive, so pool=bad for me.

I suppose I could use the regular version of SageTV on WHS if SageTV-WHS requires the pool.

Just don't add the RAID array to the pool and share it out like you would normally. It'll be fine.

Answer = Nope..

I put three extra drives in and each one is a different drive letter. Two 500GB and one 1.5 TB drive.
