Upgraded to 6.5.7 and Taking Hours To Load Sage

I upgraded to 6.5.7 last night from 6.4.8. The first time loading it stayed at Object Database is Initializing - 62% done...For two hours!

I thought maybe it was a one time thing, but after rebooting today, it's doing it again.

In looking, the SageTVTranscoder.exe is the only process on my computer working during this time.

A snippet of the log file shows this:

Code:
Sun 1/25 10:32:02.604 Using internal format detector first...
Sun 1/25 10:32:03.078 Now using external format detector...
Sun 1/25 10:33:03.242 NOTICE: Forcibly terminating spawned process due to runaway execution detection!
Sun 1/25 10:33:03.242 FORMATERROR UNABLE TO PARSE FILE TYPE FOR FILE-1: G:\Movies\Band Of Brothers 2.iso
Sun 1/25 10:33:03.352 Using internal format detector first...
Sun 1/25 10:33:03.641 Now using external format detector...
Sun 1/25 10:34:03.645 NOTICE: Forcibly terminating spawned process due to runaway execution detection!
Sun 1/25 10:34:03.646 FORMATERROR UNABLE TO PARSE FILE TYPE FOR FILE-1: G:\Movies\Band Of Brothers 3.iso
Sun 1/25 10:34:03.712 Using internal format detector first...
Sun 1/25 10:34:03.973 Now using external format detector...
Sun 1/25 10:35:03.986 NOTICE: Forcibly terminating spawned process due to runaway execution detection!
Sun 1/25 10:35:03.986 FORMATERROR UNABLE TO PARSE FILE TYPE FOR FILE-1: G:\Movies\Band Of Brothers 4.iso
It goes through this for every single movie in my collection (over 200).

Any ideas how to stop this? Or why it's doing it?

don't know why its doing it, maybe be related to the .iso files. I don't recall if sage can natively play .iso's, so if you had added it as a file type, could that be the problem?

I'd try temporarily moving out the iso's or all the imported video files and see if sage properly starts up. Then move stuf back into the Movies folder and see if that breaks it.

It doesn't natively support .iso's, you're right. In 6.4.8 though, with nothing else changed, it didn't do this (or at least take 2 hours, more like 3 minutes).

Unfortunately out of 200+ movies, 90% or so are .iso format.

I'll try moving them out though and see if it loads. I have a feeling it will, but I need to find a way for it to not try to "transcode" them I think...

We've added a fix for this to the next build.

Great, thanks!

Any ideas for a workaround until then?

Okay, so I removed all movie folders and it now loads correctly. The downside, of course, is that I can't use Sage for anything other than recording television until I can fix it.

Any ideas on a workaround until the next beta comes out?

Great! Looking forward to it...

Forgive the question, but I'm new around here...Is this rev going to be the new beta (i.e. 6.5.8) or do I need to download it elsewhere?
