Rescan destroyed channel list
I should have left well enough alone, but after upgrading antennas, I can now receive D.C. digital stations along with the Baltimore stations I was already receiving. So I perform a rescan, using the same Baltimore Digital lineup. Now the list is trashed; the logical and actual channel numbers sort of assigned themselves whereafter they saw fit. Editing is next to impossible, because you have to hope the call sign matches the actual channel.
Anyone else in the Baltimore/Washington area have this happen? Is there a fix? BTW, I'm using a Hauppauge HVR-950 (detected as a 980). I've completely stripped and reinstalled all the Hauppauge software (word to the wise, do NOT try WinTV 7 unless you know how to strip all Haupaugge software off of your computer), but no joy. Attached is a screen shot. |
