ERROR:Root element is missing.

Recently I have started getting this error when running DGXMLTV.

The system downloads a few items, about 8 then bombs with this error. The EPGDATA file is now a few K instead of about 40MB.

Ive seen a couple of posts with suggested fixes but nothing suggeted seems to cure my problem.

I have also completely removed DG and DGXMLTV and reinstalled both from scratch with no success.

I am using Ver8.4 of DG and going backwards in versions has also not cured the problem.

Does anyone know what the problem is and what to do to fix it.

I have enough problems with EPG without this too - HELP

look in the uk forum under the original thread and you will find that Nick has updated dgxmltv as 8.4 sent it pear shaped, you just need to apply the update he has posted

Ive tried this and all I get is the following in the cmd window

Retrieving http://localhost:2402/skin-DG2XML/viewmultichannelgrid?htd=504&dt=<h1>Skin 'DG2XML' is missing</viewmultichannelgrid?htd=504

Any ideas anyone, Oh and the update is rather slow now too

Completely uninstalled everything and re-installed it and the problem has gone away. Just wish I knew exactly it was that caused it
