Sage won't change STB channel

after a fresh install of Vista Ultimate w/SP1 and a fresh install of the latest Sage beta 6.5.7, Sage will not change my Dishnetwork VIP222 box. It won't even send a signal (no flashing light on the IR). Using Hauppauges ConfigBlast program I have the code set to 180 like I always use and it works fine within that program but Sage won't even try to send a signal.

Any ideas?

Right click on the icon, and "Run as Administrator".

Or, right-click, choose Properties, click Advanced, check the box that says "Run as administrator" and it will do it every time you click it.

Vista stores some types of programs' config files in "safe" directories, instead of allowing the programs access to their own config files in their installed \program files\* directories. So your updated blastcfg remote-code gets saved to c:\users\<you>\appdata\someplace in here.

Sage doesn't know to find that Hauppauge remote config (that you just created with BlastCfg), so you gotta run BlastCfg as an administrator and "build" the config in the default location where sage looks.

anyway, run BlastCfg as an administrator, restart Sage, and try it again.
