Not working under Windows 7 beta?

I'm using an HVR-1600

Now I should probably preface this issue by pointing out that I've been having issues with QAM scanning in general--after my original SageTV trial ran out on Vista, I couldn't find another program that would find QAM channels including WinTV. I know that the card works because I can use the analog port to find basic cable channels and I've also been able to find QAM channels with SageTV before having this issue.

From what I've read online a vast majority of programs that work under Vista work with Windows 7 beta and from what I've read on these very boards, SageTV is no different. Unfortunately for me, I'm trying the trial version of this software and I can't seem add a digital source (though analog is fine). When I click Hauppauge winTV 418 TS capture and then Digital Tuner SageTV simply closes. I've even tried to run the program in repeatability mode under both Vista and XP SP2, but nothing works. It's possible that I'm missing a plugin or something because I literally just installed the OS, but no errors come up and I can scan and watch analog channels fine.
