How to re-install SageTV on a new computer

I've had to rebuild my media center PC and in doing so have had to reinstall everything from the ground up. I have a complete XCopy backup of my old SageTV directory. My question is simple:

What do I need to do in order to get my system back to exactly where it was before -- same program listings, media library, recording settings, etc. The only thing that has changed on this system is the motherboard, CPU type, and Operating System hard drive. All the media, etc., is still on a different drive and should therefore not require any configuration setting changes.

My guess:

Install SageTV 6.X.
Perform minor configuration just to get the TV tuner hooked in.
XCopy my prior SageTV image on top of the new image.

I will need to reinstall the Web Admin again.
I will need to reinstall the commercial skip again.

Anything I get wrong?

Yeah, do it the other way around. Copy your old directory before you install Sage and Sage will pick up your old files and it'll be more like an upgrade.
