How do I record the same show on two different tuners on my sage server?
I have an issue, I would like to record the Chargers game tomorrow on two tuners at the same time. My issue is since channel 8 sold its UHF channel to qualcomm last year and moved their Digital signal to UHF 7, then turned down the transmit wattage to almost nothing due to them interfering with KTLA channel 7 (analog) I have some issues recording consistantly via OTA. This morning I moved my antenna up to a height that is almost LOS to their antenna, so I am getting a better signal but not perfect (not until they move to channel 8 and turn up the wattage next month) I have Directv but for some reason there is an issue with the HD signal on the locals since they moved the SD locals to a different satellite, I have had them out a few times and their "techs" replace a part here or there but never actually solve the issue. So I have a delemma, I would like to record the game via OTA due to its vastly superior HD picture and via the HD_PVR to make sure I don't miss any plays. I could switch back in case one of them starts taking a dive. I will be watching it delayed by 1/2-1 hour. Since its on KFMBDT, Sage only shows it once, any ideas on how to fool Sage into allowing it to record on two tuners at the same time? Is there something I could do in the sage.properties file? Any suggestions to make it record via two tuners so I can watch it just by picking the other show in the recorded shows would be appreciated.
-Bill

I recall that you can set it up with manual recordings to do this.
