EPG missing
I recently had a lot of trouble with my DVB-T card and eventually replaced it, but when I came to install the tuners in Sage, and selected my Freeview lineup, the lineup did not appear to load. Usually I get a message saying something like "Loading Freeview Lineup" for a few seconds. After the procedure completed, there was nothing at all in the program guide, no channel numbers, names, nothing.
I am using Stephane's importer and checked the files it produces and they seemed fine. It is as if Sage cannot find these files and I have a feeling that something might be missing from the properties file. |

So you have to select "Don't use guide data" and make a channel scan. This will create the .frq file. Then you'll be able to use this new .frq file in the Importer to rebuild your lineup and import it. Regards, Stéphane. |

Thanks Stephane, but I did do a re-scan and created new freq files, then I copied and pasted in the tuning data from the old freq files, so the channel numbers are still the same as in the importer.
I noticed that there are still references to the old DVB-T card in the Sage properties file. Could this be a problem? |

Is switching DVB-T card the only thing you have done? Regards, Stéphane. |

Did you try shutting down Sage/service and reinstalling the importer? Should replace anything that's gone missing...

The log doesn't show any error. However, SageTV didn't request a guide update at all. The process stopped right after presenting the available XMLTV Lineups (Sky & Freeview).
So I don't know what is happening. To further investigate the issue you should: 1) Shut down SageTV and backup your wiz.bin and sage.properties file. 2) Delete the wiz.bin and sage.properties file from the SageTV directory 3) Launch SageTV, it will recreate a wiz.bin and sage.properties 4) Shut down SageTV, edit the sage.properties file to add the XMLTV plugin (you'll find here what line to add to the sage.properties file) 5) Start SageTV and add your DVB-T videosource If you have now guide data, then the problem is certainly coming from your original sage.properties file... Regards, Stéphane. |

I'm sorry to have to tell you guys this, but after a couple of days, I switched on the PC, loaded Sage and the EPG was completely filled with 2 weeks of data!
I have no idea what happened as I did nothing. I feel really guilty for wasting your time on this, and can only apologise profusely. Thank you for your effort. |
