Placeshifter vs. client
Hi All, almost ready 2 pull the trigger and buy Sage, just trying to figure out which pieces I need. Can someone explain the difference between PlaceShifter and SageTV Client? PlaceShifter says you can schedule recordings and watch live TV wirelessly, which I am currently doing with a beta of SageTV Client, and I would assume if I opened up the right ports on my router it would work the same from outside my network as well. What am I missing with PlaceShifter, and also do I need one license for the server or multiple PlaceShifter licenses for the clients as well?
