HDhomerun - both inputs to one antenna?

I would like to use my HDhomerun with both inputs fed by the same OTA antenna. I'd like to be able to record a program and watch a different channel on live TV at the same time, or even potentially record two stations at the same time.

I tried adding the second tuner as an additional source, but all the channel numbers became remapped and renumbered in strange ways. I would like to have the identical lineup on both, and have SageTV be smart enough to use the second one if the first one is busy.

How is this done? Am I missing something?

You hooked up both RF inputs right? And made sure to configure both tuners in the HDHR configuration app?

...and when you select the 2nd tuner make sure to select an "existing lineup" so that the channels will be identical.
