No sound on HD100 with HD-PVR 1.0.53
So I just updated my 2 HD-PVR drivers to the latest .53 release, which works fine on my client. The audio is being recognized as AC3. Yet on my HD100 there is no audio at all. If i play a recording made with the old 47 driver there is audio. Anyone have any ideas?
BTW this is with sage 6.4.8, and the latest 08/12/08 firmware on the extender. |

Have you checked the sound settings on the HD-100? You have to go into the settings menu to do so. Reboot the HD-100 and go into the settings menu rather than allowing it to connect to the Sage Server.
Just a thought. Sorry if you have already checked this.

Yeah, I just have it set to stereo right now. I can't believe I haven't seen this posted before. Why the extender plays AAC but not AC3 is beyond me

Interesting... I am using the stereo outs on the HD100. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

I know. I wasn't trying to connect them to a coaxial input on a receiver. I just have it plugged in to the analog stereo in on a SDTV.
