6.5.3 good things and bad things...

OK, so far on the 6.5.3 (coming from 6.4.8) release...

System = slow athlon 3500
1Hauppauge pvr 350
1 hauppauge pvr250
1ATI HD TV Wonder (on Over-the-air antenna) HD only
1HD-PVR on comcast box.
3 sagetvclient - XP black-Essential
1 mediamvp client
1 hd100 client

The Good:
Placeshifter performance is Better!
PVR-250 and PVR350 work great on sageclient
ATI hdwonder works great picture, sound everything perfectly on sageclient

The bad:
placeshifter can't play hdpvr content (not surprising, my machine is a total dog, so I don't blame sage)

when I tune a hdpvr station on client, client crashes without error. this I think is a problem.

SO.... what should I try to get the client to watch hdpvr stations?

ok so further investigation tonite...

I have a headless sage.tv server, no way of testing things directly on the server
ATI HDWonder works great, good sync, good picture, no problems.

However, when I try to watch a HD-PVR recording or live tv, sagetvclient crashes
