Where to buy HD-PVR in Canada
Has anyone found a good location to buy the Hauppauge HD-PVR in Canada?

Just for comparison if I ordered directly from SageTV the HD-PVR would come out to about $337.60 CAD. Customs fees of around $20 would also have to be added to that amount.

Keep an eye on the dell site. I ordered mine about 6 months ago, for $199 + taxes (free shipping). I've seen it posted there a couple of times since for that price.

ncix also has them as well, but dell, by far, has been the cheapest, esp when you consider free shipping.

Thanks for the advice. I had a quick peek at NCIX.com and it looks like their "all-in" price is...

$276.12 CAD

So far that seems to be the best Canadian price available.

I bought mine at Dell a few months back as it was $200 on Days of Dell. Canada Computers, which is mainly a retail store, has it for $270 + tax - their Ottawa store is supposed to open the first week of Dec.

First HD-PVR through CanadaComputers.com store in Mississauga for roughly 221+taxes. Picked up in store therefore no shipping cost.

Second HD-PVR through NCIX when they were on sale for 199.99+taxes, shipping was free at the time also.

Is that $199 USD or CDN? I just got mine for $172 USD + shipping but had a friend bring em back from the US for me.
