Firewire Add-on Card
I've purchased a new motherboard and cpu for my client and in the process spaced out by not purchasing a board with firewire; of course I use it for channel changing. I've looked on Newegg for some firewire PCI boards and was surprised how cheap they are ranging from $12-$25.00. Will any of these cards suffice for channel changing and potential video capture? I have some cheap no-name one in my server and it's changing channels and capturing firewire recordings no problem.
Not sure if it's important or not, but mine has a hookup for a small power lead (FDD)
