VC-1 codec
I have been at my dads trying to figure out his blu-ray problems. I have tried the Cyberlink 7 that came with the drive and SageTV on at m2ts file I ran thru tsmuxergui after a rip. I usually convert these to h.264 files with MeGui immediately and play the converted mkv file with SageTV so I am not sure I have had a chance to run into this issue before now.
He has a ATI 780G motherboard that seems to play the h.264 files just fine but the VC-1 encoded files do not seem to play without major skipping. I put the Geforce 8600 GT card in the machine the VC-1 files play back just fine it is only the ATI 780 that seems to choke on them. Has anyone else been able to play a VC-1 rip with and ATI 780 card with Sage or Cyberlink 7. |
