HDHR Netowork usage

while recording 3 HD shows from 2 separate HDHR's my network utilization was 60% the whole time. is this normal? its a 100mg network running 6.4.8 and latest HDHR software

If they were all HD shows, that seems about right. Whether or not the latest beta fixes bandwidth utilization, you would be seeing 18-20 Megabits per stream, which comes to about 50%-60% utilization with just loose math.

I just hooked up my first HDHomerun. I'm running the latest released firmware (123108 I think) and the latest release of Sage (6.4.8). Using both inputs on the HDHR for digital cable. I'm seeing 40MB/sec for one recording or 80MB/sec if recording two shows regardless of whether I am recording SD or HD content. Is this normal?

Tiki, The fix in the beta! With the fix you would get about 20MBps with 1 HD channel.
