Audio sync delay with Dscaler and double refresh

Elecard 2.1, Dscalar with double refresh rate. With this combination, the audio gets out of sync with the picture. I don't think it's a CPU issue, since I can repro the issue on both an Athlon 2500+ system and a P4-3.2 system, and the result is about the same.

Anyone else seen/solved this?

There's an audio delay setting in Detailed Setup -> Audio I believe.

There is. It didn't seem to have much effect, though. When I set it for 1000 or 2000 ms, it sure wasn't shifting things 1 or 2 seconds.

A couple of times I have noticed audio synch issues (I've changed my codecs around a lot so I'm not sure what I was using at the time) and the odd thing is, one tap of the REW got the audio back in synch. I have no idea why that would synch things back up, but it has worked for me.

Audio sync with double refresh is tricky. I have never had problems with it on my P3 1000 or Athlon 2500+. However, my friend can never keep it in syn on his Athlon 2400+. I think sound card and sound output renderer may play into this.
