Trade Client license for Placeshifter or Extender

It is my understanding that a Placeshifter and extender license are the same. Therefore can I trade in a client license that no longer suites my situation for a Placeshifter license?

I think they used to have a trade program but that was a long time ago when the placeshifter was first released. I'd like to trade my client license for a placeshifter license too but I doubt they still offer it...

Me too.....I've got 2 Client licenses that I'm not using at all and would much rather have extra Placeshifter licenses.

I'd even pay up to $10 to swap each one over......

It never hurts to ask but asking here will get you nowhere.

It can sort-of hurt to ask if it takes time for support to answer the question instead of answering other people's questions. (And they are fairly busy shipping HD200s at the moment.)

There is no trade in program. That was a one-time offer that has long expired.

That's what I figured, since it was years ago; I don't remember sage mentioning an expiration date but that might just be me. I just remember that there once *was* a trade program.
