parallel schedule display issue in 6.5.1 beta
I am seeing some type of display issue when I view the recording schedule in parallel mode. I see this on the server, client and even using the HD extender. It looks like multiple entries are sometimes displayed over one another. See the circled entries in the attached snip. The 11 AM entry for bewitched is OK and shown as being on tuner c791-0 when the number of columns is less than 6. The 11:30 problems appear to be two recordings Bewitched (ee2c-0) and Ask Aida (2). The 11:30 problems appear when I have 3 or more columns displayed. Anyone else seeing this type or problem? I will probably report to support on Monday.

Submit a bug report please so we can have you test a new JAR. We saw something *like* this shortly after release and already fixed it; but this looks different in some ways versus what we were seeing so I want to be sure this is taken care of. Thanks,

I just submitted a bug report using my regular beta bug report method. I was going to use the form but is is not current and does not allow attachments. The form does not provide for a beta or a 6.5.1 version. The form also does not list Vista as a OS, except as an other entry.

It does look like one of the symptoms I did a bug submission for. I also have scheduled recordings in the wrong tuner column and scheduled recordings that move between columns when scrolling down the page.

6.5.1 -- Incorrect Tuner Mapping in Recording Schedule
In 6.5.1, future recordings listed in the Recording Schedule page (parallel view) are being listed under the wrong tuners -- once the recording begins, it appears to be using the correct tuner and the recording slides over to the correct tuner.
For example, last night, True Blood was supposedly scheduled to be recorded on one of my Hauppauge tuners, but those tuners don't even have HBO configured. Once the 9pm start time arrived, I checked again and True Blood was listed as being recorded under my firewire encoder (where it should have been all along). Never had this problem prior to upgrading to 6.5.1 yesterday. EDIT: Sorry, just noticed this has already been reported in another thread. * merged * Last edited by salsbst; 11-17-2008 at 06:46 AM. |

Actually, it is a combination of the wrong column and entries being overwritten.
