MacMini + HDHomeRun, but "no signal"....

Am just trying to bring up SageTV for the first time:
--Installed it on a MacMini.
--Installed an HDHomeRun on my Ethernet, and connected to a RG6 Comcast cable feed (which also feeds a Sony TV, which shows some unencrypted digital channels). [No analog tuner, yet.]
--Updated SW on the HDHomeRun, and a Mac found it fine.
--Ran the channel scan over the Comcast Digital entry for our town, which reported it found some channels.
--When I go to the channel guide it seems to show both analog and digital channels.
--If I select what looks like an analog channel, I get a black screen and "no signal" -- that makes sense.
--But when I go to a digital channel (e.g., KQEDDT3), I still get a black screen, and "no signal."
--As I scan channels up and down, occasionally get a green screen, and an isolated "chirp" from the speakers; but no TV.

I hope I am missing something obvious.
Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome!

HDHR is digital only. It will NOT pick up analog. As far as the black screen go to the stickies or search the forum to make sure you followed the latest instructions exactly. Also the latest beta which just came out in the beta thread may work better for you.

Just to be clear: the instructions I wrote up for the HDHR are only for Windows. On a Mac or Linux system, you just do the channel scan in SageTV. You can remap the logical channel numbers & for EPG data, you would need to remap the stations, but the channels should be able to tune via the physical numbers found by the scan. (I haven't used the tuner on a Mac system, so I can only say how it should work...)

Sorry about steering you to the Windows instructions.

The other thing is I believe you need to do a scan on both tuners. If you only did the one tuner that might be your issue.

And I'm guessing since this is a Mac none of the dshowcapture.dll updates will help either.
