Loading software that came with HD-PVR

Do I need to load any of the software that came with the HD-PVR, besides the drivers? Which I got the latest for here. I'm just going to use it as a tuner.

Thanks

You should load at least the Arcsoft Total Media Theater app on any machine you use for playback if you want to use the Arcsoft codec to playback the H264 files recorded by the HD-PVR. Just browse the CD and go to the TME folder and run setup from there.

TME also has some settings to turn hardware acceleration on and off and some other settings for your HD-PVR like SPDIF and which audio outputs you're using. You should install it where the HD-PVR is and on any clients like Apap mentioned.
